Terms & Liability Waiver
REUNION SPORTS DALLAS PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY CHECKING THE BOX BELOW AND COMPLETING REGISTRATION, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in recreational sports and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, physical exertion, weather conditions, equipment failure, and other hazards that may result in property damage, serious injury, illness, disability, or death.
I voluntarily choose to participate and knowingly assume all risks associated with my participation in any Reunion Sports Dallas ("RSD") league, tournament, event, practice, or related activity.
2. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and discharge Reunion Sports Dallas, its owners, members, managers, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, partners, venues, facility owners, and affiliates (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, costs, or causes of action arising out of or relating to my participation in RSD activities.
THIS RELEASE INCLUDES CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.
3. Medical Fitness and Emergency Treatment
I certify that I am physically able to participate and do not have any condition that would make participation unsafe.
I authorize emergency medical treatment if necessary and understand that I am solely responsible for any resulting medical expenses.
4. Code of Conduct
I agree to act in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner and to comply with all league rules and instructions.
RSD reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant for unsafe behavior, harassment, violence, repeated rule violations, or other conduct deemed detrimental to the league, with or without refund.
5. Refund Policy
League fees are non-refundable once a season or event has begun.
Refund requests made before the start of a season or event may be approved at the sole discretion of RSD.
6. Media Release
I grant RSD permission to photograph, record, and use my name, image, likeness, voice, and appearance in photographs, videos, social media content, promotional materials, and other media without compensation or further approval.
7. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from my actions, conduct, or participation in RSD activities.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute relating to this Agreement or participation in RSD activities shall be resolved exclusively in Dallas County, Texas.
9. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
10. Electronic Consent
I acknowledge that checking the acceptance box and completing registration constitutes my electronic signature and indicates that I have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
If I am registering a participant under the age of 18, I certify that I am the participant's parent or legal guardian and agree to these terms on the participant's behalf.
